Dr. Rebecca Dunn is a fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists and an International Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
She undertook her medical training at Monash University Melbourne where she was awarded a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) with Honours. She then completed her dermatology training in Melbourne gaining experience at all the major tertiary referral hospitals in a variety of clinical settings including complex medical dermatology at The Alfred Hospital and Royal Melbourne Hospital, paediatric dermatology at the Royal Childrens Hospital and dermatologic surgery and sub-specialty clinics at the Skin and Cancer Foundation Victoria.
In 2010 she was awarded the Australasian College of Dermatologists travelling scholarship enabling her to undertake a year of training in Oxford UK.
Dr. Dunn is a general dermatologist with expertise in skin cancer detection and management. She is highly proficient in dermatologic surgery and laser. Rebecca is also skilled in the diagnosis and management of common dermatologic conditions including eczema, psoriasis, acne and rosacea and is certified by Medicare for injection of botulinum toxin for primary axillary hyperhidrosis.
Dr. Dunn believes in a holistic approach to health empowering patients through knowledge and education about the role of life style factors in the prevention and treatment of skin disorders. She values personalised medicine taking the time to listen to and understand patients and their problems.
Rebecca is committed to her practice and takes pride in providing excellence of care by keeping up to date with latest advances in medical research and developments. She has been published in The Australasian Journal of Dermatology as well as international dermatology journals and has presented at both Australian and international dermatology meetings.
Dr. Dunn combines clinical work with enjoying time with her family and a love of travel, adventure and the outdoors.
